Just so everyone knows, I'm going to be depressed for a while

I'm gonna have to give Stripes (my cat) away cause we can't afford a procedure needed to clear his bladder of blockages. Tomorrow, I'm gonna give him to the Pet Hospital, where they're gonna get him fixed up and put him up for adoption. I won't ever see the little fuzzball again.

He's been in my life for just two years, but it feels like he's always been there. I can't really imagine my house without him. No more will I hear the annoying meow at five o'clock in morning cause he wants to go out. No more will I accidentally step into the disemboweled remains of a dead bird. No more will he nuzzle up to me and purr. The thought brought tears to my eyes.

God, I'll miss ya, little buddy.
